Hoover
Hoover is a city in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is located in Jefferson County, about 10 miles south of Birmingham. The population was 86,055 at the 2020 census. Hoover is a suburb of Birmingham, and is home to a number of businesses and industries. The city is also home to a number of educational institutions, including the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the Hoover Public Schools, and the Hoover Metropolitan Complex.
